Conner Schierman – White, age 24
Sentenced in King County, Washington
By: a jury
Date of crime: July 2006
Prosecution’s case/defense response: Schierman was found guilty of the murder of his neighbors Olga Milkin (age 28), her sons, Justin (age 5) and Andrew (age 3), and her sister, Lyubov Botvina (age 24). Schierman claimed to have been “blacked out” on alcohol at the time of the slayings. Moreover, prosecutors contend he burned down the family’s home in an attempt to cover up the crime. However, Schierman claimed he thought no one would believe he didn’t commit the murders and burned the house down in a panic.
