Prosecution’s case/defense response: Hargrave kidnapped, stabbed and beat to death in an abandoned trailer pregnant 18-year-old Allyson Pederson. He then burglarized the home of her parents Sharon and Andrew Hartley and stabbed and beat them to death. Hargrave had sexually assaulted a child a decade earlier. The defense argued that Hargrave would not be dangerous in prison.
