Prosecution case/defense response: Clayton showed up at the home of his girlfriend Pashea Fisher where they began arguing and “tussling.” Clayton pulled a gun and shot Fisher in the head. Then he fired 11 more shots from two different magazines, killing Fisher’s parents Arithio and Patricia. Clayton claimed that during the melee Arithio had kicked Clayton to the floor, and Clayton had fired out of fear. The defense pointed out that Clayton did not have any significant criminal history.
